New painting

Just finished this painting of Matilija poppies.  They have been blooming in abundance, and I love how ethereal they are, like big, showy crepe paper fried eggs, or angels blowing in the breeze.  It is oil on canvas board, 11″x14″.  You can see a larger image on my website: http://mmissman.com/matilija_poppies.html
